3rd Annual Scarecrow Contest!
Unique, handcrafted scarecrows are entered and displayed at Bunnell Farm. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity and presentation.
Age Categories:
Youth: Pre-K to 6th Grade
Teen/Adult/Family: 7th Grade and older
Categories:
Traditional: These scarecrows will be typically old-fashioned figures constructed from throw aways. Clothing, hay, stuffing, burlap, farm implements, farm produce (corn husks, vegetables, pumpkins, etc.) are a few ideas of the traditional scarecrow.
Creative: These scarecrows can depict a modern day celebrity, storybook character, cartoon figure, crazy character, or your own creative masterpiece. Materials used may include metal, plastics, ceramics, etc.
Prizes:
1st Award: $100 (each age group)
2nd Award: $50 (each age group)
On Sunday, October 4th....
Join us for a Scarecrow Celebration from 1 to 3 p.m!! There will be Hayrides, Face Painting, Hog Dogs
